Our 16-inch Burmese Curly Hair Weft features soft, defined 3A–3C curls that sit just above the shoulders—perfect for achieving a naturally voluminous, full-bodied look without extreme length. This raw human hair is ethically sourced from Southeast Asia and offers a lush curl pattern that blends beautifully with textured hair.

Each bundle is made from 100% raw Burmese hair with flat, neatly stitched wefts for a smooth install. This texture is ideal for those seeking a high-quality, low-maintenance curl that can be worn as-is or styled with light heat. The curls bounce back after washing and can be colored or styled with heat tools up to 400°F.

Each bundle weighs approximately 100g (3.5 oz). For a full sew-in with leave-out, we recommend using 2 to 3 bundles. With proper care and hydration, this hair can last up to 24 months while maintaining its softness and shape.

As raw hair is never identical, we recommend ordering all bundles at the same time to ensure the best match in curl pattern and tone.

2. Washing and Conditioning

    •  Curl define: Use a curl-defining cream or mousse to enhance and define your natural curls.

Recommendation: Curl Define Cream

    •  Heat protectant: Always apply a heat protectant before using heat styling tools to maintain the curl pattern.

        FAQs – Curly Hair Extensions

How often should I wash my curly hair extensions?

Wash your curly hair extensions no more than once a week to retain moisture and prevent frizz. Overwashing can strip the hair of its natural oils and cause dryness.

What products do you recommend for best results?

We recommend using hydrating and curl-friendly products such as:

        • Shampoo & Conditioner: RedKen, Design Essentials, Kera Care, or Crème of Nature Sulfate-Free Hydrating Shampoo.
        • Leave-in Conditioners: Deva Curl, Design Essentials, Jane Carter Mist, or Kera Care.
        • Curl-Defining Products: Camille Rose Curl Maker, Aunt Jackie's Curl La La, or Mielle Organics Curl Smoothie.

How should I store my curly hair extensions when not in use?

Store your extensions in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight. Keep them braided or in a silk/satin bag to prevent tangling and frizz.

Can I swim with my curly hair extensions?

Yes! However, we recommend wetting your extensions with clean water first and applying a leave-in conditioner before swimming. This reduces chlorine and saltwater absorption, preventing dryness and tangling. Always rinse and deep condition after swimming.

How do I refresh my curls between washes?

Lightly mist your hair with water or a curl-refreshing spray and scrunch gently. Use a leave-in conditioner or curl cream to redefine and hydrate curls. Avoid over-brushing to maintain curl integrity.

By following these care instructions, you'll keep your curly hair extensions looking fabulous and lasting longer. Remember, proper care not only maintains the beauty of your extensions but also enhances your overall look.

        Burmese Curly Hair FAQs

How do I maintain my Burmese Curly Hair Extensions?

To keep your curls defined and frizz-free, co-wash your hair weekly with a sulfate-free conditioner. Always detangle while wet, using your SL Raw Hair Extensions Brush from the ends up. A leave-in conditioner is your best friend—mist it onto wet hair for softness and hydration.

        Does Burmese curly hair shed?

Shedding is minimized when the wefts are left intact. If you must cut the wefts, seal them using a weft sealer to prevent hair loss. Avoid excessive brushing when dry to reduce shedding.

Can I straighten Burmese curly hair?

Yes, our Burmese Curly Hair Extensions can be heat-styled. Curls will revert back when washed, but excessive heat may loosen the curl pattern over time. Always use a heat protectant before styling.

What’s the best way to reduce frizz in curly hair extensions?

Apply a curl custard or cream to damp hair to define curls and reduce frizz. For extra hold, use a light leave-in conditioner before styling. Avoid over-manipulating the curls once dry to maintain definition.

        How do I prevent tangling?

        To prevent tangling:

Always detangle while wet, starting from the ends and working your way up.

Use a SL Raw Satin or silk bonnet at night to protect the curls.

Avoid alcohol-based styling products, as they dry out the hair.

Can I dye or bleach my curly hair extensions?

Yes! Our Burmese Curly Hair is 100% virgin human hair, so it can be dyed or bleached. However, professional coloring is recommended to maintain quality and avoid damage.

How much hair do I need for a full install?

For lengths 16”, 2 bundles are usually enough.

For 20”-24”, we recommend 3 bundles.
